The Hervey Bay Boat Club is the Fraser Coast 2024 Dunga Derby Event Risk and Safety Sponsor, assisting the charity with the risk and safety expenses of the event. Without their important support we would not be able to do things like upgrade our radios, our map and safety software, first aid and recovery training for the officials etc.
Important things like Hi Vis wear and PPE are covered in this funding and keep our officials and support crew safe.
Hervey Bay Boat Club is located on the beautiful Urangan marina and boasts spectacular views of the harbour and Fraser Island.
Hervey Bay Boat Club is a unique group of hospitality and tourism facilities.
Subsidiary to the Boat Club are Boat Club Adventure Cruises, Marloo Twin Cinema, Harbour View Tourist Park & Camping Ground, a 24 hour fuel station in Urangan and the Hervey Bay Boat Club Marina with secure dry boat storage compound.

The Boat Club provides a complete entertainment venue with Harbourview Dining a la carte dining, Coffee Shop bars, free live entertainment the latest poker machines, TAB and Keno, wedding reception and function facilities and a courtesy bus service. The Club also boasts several sporting clubs under its umbrella. Contact the Intraclubs for more information on joining one of our sporting clubs.
The Hervey Bay Boat Club was founded in 1970 by a small group of people with a common interest in boating, fishing and marine activities.
The club was established to provide a meeting place for these members of a small coastal community.
